STAIN FREE APPLICATION

TOILETS: (always test on an out of site place to check for color fastness). Lower the water level in the bowl by first using a plunger 4 - 5 times so the water level is about 2 inches below the hard water stain line in the bowl. (You may also pour a bucket of water quickly in the bowl. This will lower the water level as well. We do not recommend turning the pipe in the back of the toilet off. If the water is very hard in your area, it may cause the pipe to leak if you turn it too many times.) Then saturate the ring with Stain Free using the mini mop provided. The average time to leave Stain Free on is about 4-7 minutes. If your problem is on the very bottom of the toilet where the water goes thru, Then you must get as much water out as possible. After plunging use Terri cloth towels to soak up the rest of the water. Or you may use a shop vac to suck up the water. If this is your problem, those mineral deposits are sitting on top of each other and the different layers will take some time to remove.

OPAQUE SHOWER DOORS:  You may also use STAIN FREE on opaque shower doors, (the frosted ones). making sure that the product is evenly distributed and well soaked. You may use a sponge, rag, or a nylon scrubby that is made for glass. Leave on about 7- 8 minutes checking with a dry towel in different spots to see if the hard water stains have been removed. When clean rinse well. Make sure everything is well rinsed after cleaning with Stain Free.

TILE AND PORCELAIN:  Warning - Test on small, inconspicuous area for fixture stability before use on porcelain sinks & tubs.  It will do wonders on OLD porcelain tubs as well. Make those antique tubs look like new. Apply by pouring a little amount of STAIN FREE. With a sponge or mini-mop distribute evenly, checking every 3-4 minutes. When clean just rinse it away.

NEWER CERAMIC TILE AND PORCELAIN THAT IS NEWER THAN 15 YEARS OLD:  We don't encourage the use of the STAIN FREE on these without being very careful as you apply a small application each time. The reason being, when the EPA took lead out of enamel about 15 years ago, one of the domino effects was that the ceramic tiles as well as newer porcelain no longer had the good HARD surfaces that made them so durable before. That is why the industry tells people only to use liquid cleaners that are non abrasive. We do have a product just for clear glass as well as for the newer bath-fixtures with the new ceramic or porcelain finishes. It is called BUFF-IT-FREE, and it has been designed for maximum cleaning yet very safe for these delicate fixtures

VINYL: Floors that have rust spots or stains you just don't know how they got there. Pour directly on the stain. It may take up to 5 or 6 hours to penetrate the vinyl. It won't hurt the vinyl, So give it some time to soak in.

FIBERGLASS: Our Stain Free is the only product that we are aware of that completely removes hard water stains from fiberglass and acrylic shower pans and tubs. Just pour a little on the bottom of the shower or tub making sure it is evenly distributed. If you have a non-skid bottom give it some extra time. STAIN FREE is an emulsifier. It will emulsify the build up that is in-between the non skid and then work it's why down into the fibers and emulsify the dirt, oils, and minerals bringing it to the surface. Then you just rinse it away. Depending on how badly stained your fixtures are will determine how long to leave the Stain Free on. The average time will be approximately 8-9 minutes. (Stain free has a 5.5 ph and is safe for septic tanks)

The first time you use our products will be the longest you will ever have to leave them on. After removing the buildup, keeping up with cleaning will be a breeze. STAIN FREE is NOT a daily or weekly cleaner. It is a STAIN REMOVER. You use it only when your weekly cleaner does not do the job any longer.  As with all our HAWAII CLEAN products, just sit back and admire the beauty until it's time to remove the stains again.
